About The Position

The Radiology Technology LMRT Instructor position is a pivotal role within the academic framework of the College of Health Care Professions, designed to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct, educational excellence, and student development. This role is integral to delivering curriculum content that aligns with the institution's Mission Objectives, ensuring students achieve their educational aspirations and professional readiness. As an LMRT Instructor, you will: Deliver structured and comprehensive curriculum to facilitate student learning and mastery of radiologic technology concepts. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic growth and professional development. Serve as a role model by exemplifying professional behaviors, language, and practices expected of students entering the healthcare field. Provide individualized support, tutoring, and assistance to students to address academic challenges and enhance learning outcomes. Collaborate with academic leadership and peers to ensure alignment with institutional goals and compliance with regulatory standards. Utilize classroom and laboratory instruction, student assessment tools, and effective classroom management strategies to deliver an engaging educational experience. Ensure students are provided with the necessary materials and instruction to meet the learning objectives of each course within their program of study. Prepare instructional materials and maintain equipment to ensure readiness, functionality, and sufficient availability for student use. Participate in ongoing faculty assessments and professional development initiatives to maintain active and engaging classroom environments. Monitor student attendance and submit records to the registrar’s office promptly. Prepare weekly lesson plans and adhere to syllabi to maintain course pacing and meet academic requirements. Grade tests and submit grades in a timely manner to the registrar’s office. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory guidelines, as well as internal policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms, laboratory areas, and faculty offices. Notify the director of any incidents or issues immediately and ensure strict adherence to the school schedule. Actively participate in meetings, data reviews, report compilations, and adherence to academic and administrative deadlines. Perform other duties as assigned to support the academic mission and operational goals.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) Program or Certificate Program with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience, or Completion of a Radiologic Technology Associate’s Degree Program with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage classroom dynamics and administrative responsibilities.
  • A demonstrated passion for teaching, mentoring, and fostering student success.
