Job Summary Performs radiographic procedures to patients in accordance with departmental policy. Provides a variety of technical exams that require independent judgement to apply ionized radiation for radiologic diagnoses. Responsible for on-call procedures when indicated. Must be able to do surgery cases and pain management.
Requirements
- Good verbal communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.
- Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum six-(6) months clinical experience.
- Current American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Tech (CRT), CPR.
Responsibilities
- Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs
- Rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma
- Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma
- Performs radiographic procedures to patients in accordance with departmental policy
