About The Position

Provides patient care services via Diagnostic radiology exams/procedures utilizing Radiograph Equipment as prescribed by physicians. Applies principals of radiation protection. Provides patient care essential to Diagnostic Radiology procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA accredited radiologic technology program or experience commensurate with education.
• Registered as a radiology technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS Certification
• Competency in the science and art of radiologic technology.
• Proficient in medical terminology and proper use of radiologic equipment.
• Graduate of an AMA accredited radiologic technology program, experience commensurate with education, or currently enrolled in a radiology tech program- required
• BLS certified.
• Familiar with radiologic equipment and experience working in a clinic setting.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
• Ability to maintain quality control standards and react calmly and effectively in an emergency situation.
• Able to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions.
