Broad Imaging Services Department that performs an average of 80,000 exams per year and offering CT Scan, MRI, PET Scan, Ultra Sound, Nuclear Medicine and all digital X-Ray Our Imaging Services Department supports Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Departments. The Technical Assistant provides support to the Radiologic Technologists and Radiologists when needed. The primary function of this role is that of transporting patients to and from Radiology. Additional responsibilities may include scanning documents into PACS for archiving purposes. Knowledge of the exams in Radiology is essential so they are able to inform our patients about their exam. They provide the link between the floor and Radiology to create a safe environment for their patients. Radiology Technical Assistants have a base hourly rate of $16.82. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. The shift for this position will be 8:00am-8:30pm, working primarily Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday, with a holiday rotation.
