About The Position

The Radiology Services Manager supervises the operations of the department and ensures that services provided meet the needs of the hospital. This role involves taking ordered x-ray images and performing a variety of diagnostic procedures at a technical level, following established guidelines for infant, toddler, preschool, school age, adolescent, and young adult patients. Key tasks include preparing patients and equipment, working with PACS, operating various radiology equipment and devices, and maintaining films and files. The manager is also responsible for scheduling and assigning staff to meet departmental requirements. This is a full-time, exempt, and benefits-eligible position.

Requirements

  • Radiology Technologist license in the state of Oregon required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Minimum five (5) years radiologic technologist experience required.
  • 2 years manager/supervisor experience highly required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
  • Pediatric and orthopedic background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages Patient Care Delivery in Radiology Department
  • Maintains safety and compliance objectives at all times.
  • Leads and inspires department personnel to meet professional goals and training objectives.
  • Organizes and rallies other clinical resources to meet patient care objectives as needed.
  • Maintains appropriate budget and monitors department expenses.
