The Radiologic Technologist II competently performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers, aiding in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. This role requires working independently, exercising sound judgment, and utilizing developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures, delivering accurate results in a timely manner. The technologist is expected to gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is crucial to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. The position may also involve performing specific procedures and/or assisting in orienting new staff to the department.
