We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Let’s talk about what you’ll be doing: In this role you will work directly in a US Army R&D organization specializing in radar systems. You'll interface directly with scientists and engineers to advance the state of technology of modern radars that are used for counterfire target acquisition, active protection, and aerial surveillance. We offer hands on access to cutting edge analysis, modeling, and simulation technologies in a great work culture. As a modeling & simulation engineer you will work with a team of experts to implement and evaluate the performance of advanced signal and data processing algorithms within a robust simulation environment which models the data processing chain of a major US Army radar system. You will be reporting to various engineering team leads. Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD (onsite).

Requirements

  • Must be eligible for a government security clearance which requires proof of US citizenship
  • Student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Physics
  • Rising Junior or Senior preferably
  • Experience programming with MATLAB
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of electromagnetic theory and radar fundamentals
  • Experience in signal and data processing
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Experience with Python
  • Should have strong written and interpersonal communication skills
