Woodland Gourmet is looking for an Engineering Intern. This internship will provide on-the-job experience at our corporate office. This candidate must be enrolled in an Engineering Master’s degree program. This Engineering internship is designed to provide on-the-job experience at our corporate office and be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills he or she may have acquired in school related to his or her area of interest and apply them in a professional setting. Throughout this internship, you will be exposed to a variety of engineering functions and projects. This position is paying $20-$23/hour based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

  • Should have a technical writing background
  • Must have AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience
  • Must have an Engineering Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be enrolled in a Master’s degree program, preferably in Mechanical or Food engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be enrolled in an Engineering program (Mechanical or Food Engineering highly preferred), pursuing a Master's Degree with a grade point average of 3.0 or better.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex engineering concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Training documentation:
  • To assemble and disassemble critical components
  • Basic operations
  • Quick fix routines
  • Base line settings
  • Crew distribution
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, process flow diagrams, validation protocols, and technical reports for each production line
  • Identify critical parts for each line
