About The Position

Power the data centers, hospitals, and other mission‑critical facilities of tomorrow—supporting the design of rugged rental products and stationary generator‑set packages that keep them online. As an Engineering Intern, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in a unique manufacturing and dealer environment, working alongside experienced engineers and designers. You’ll use AutoCAD and Inventor to assist with creating and detailing drawings for parts, weldments, assemblies and electrical componets, while learning how engineered concepts move from design to production on the shop floor.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate or graduate program (expected graduation between December 2026 - July 2027).
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Organized, flexible and have the ability to work necessary hours in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Inventor and Autocad preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create 2D/3D drawings for skids, bases, enclosures, fuel/cooling/exhaust, and wiring layouts using company CAD standards.
  • Turn engineer/customer inputs into build‑ready fabrication drawings and BOMs.
  • Work with Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and the Fab Shop to resolve questions and keep drawings production‑ready.
  • Keep drawing sets current—apply redlines, revisions, and as‑built updates; maintain files and version control.
  • Participate in engineering change processes and support prototype builds
  • Prepare visual aids and documentation to support production
