About The Position
The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) is a collaborative team of engineers, technicians, and manufacturing specialists. We combine traditional and advanced technologies to develop extremely high-precision components that power Keysight’s industry-leading test & measurement equipment. We’re seeking an R&D Tech Specialist who will serve as technical support across our wet‑process and assembly areas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data analytics, automation, and hands‑on manufacturing support. You’ll partner closely with engineers and production teams to modernize workflows, automate routine tasks, and build data systems that drive smarter decision‑making.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
- Associate degree or higher, or equivalent technical training
- Strong data‑analysis skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with chemical processes
- Experience with assembly processes
- Experience building automated workflows, scripts, or data pipelines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop automated data‑collection pipelines for wet‑process and assembly departments
- Build statistical models, and analysis tools to monitor process health and drive corrective actions.
- Create automated reporting systems that reduce manual effort and improve traceability.
- Identify repetitive tasks and implement automation solutions (scripts, macros, etc.).
- Support process characterization through data analysis
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Train operators and technicians on new tools and automated workflows.
