At Dow, we believe in putting people first and we’re passionate about delivering integrity, respect and safety to our customers, our employees and the planet. Our people are at the heart of our solutions. They reflect the communities we live in and the world where we do business. Their diversity is our strength. We’re a community of relentless problem solvers that offers the daily opportunity to contribute with your perspective, transform industries and shape the future. Our purpose is simple - to deliver a sustainable future for the world through science and collaboration. If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place. About This Role Join the Dow Plastics Additives (DPA) R&D Synthesis team in Collegeville as an R&D Technologist and help deliver laboratory experimentation that supports DPA work across new product innovation, plant support, and process development. You will be a primary technical focal point for lab experimentation tied to strategic business priorities, including exciting growth platforms, regulatory-driven work, and plant process optimization. Your work will directly contribute to protecting and enabling manufacturing performance, including regulatory risk mitigation and plant support (e.g., supporting issues impacting production value at the DPA manufacturing sites globally). This is a hands-on, lab-based role where you will independently execute complex work, support troubleshooting efforts in acrylic emulsion polymerization and process areas, and bring a continuous improvement mindset to techniques, standards, and procedures. You’ll partner closely with scientists, the DPA Tech Center, and manufacturing stakeholders to translate data into practical recommendations and to share technical learnings across teams.
