About The Position

Develop code based on technical specifications to extract and process large volumes of customer and account data. Design, develop and execute code to define customer populations targeted in servicing and marketing campaigns. Guide marketing and business stakeholders on designing complex audience selections. Provide recommendations and feedback on improving and implementing strong control procedures. Maintain the data control environment and work closely with the Quality Validation and Control teams to ensure compliance with legal, marketing, and data use rules. Research data elements to be used for targeting using database metadata. Collaborate with business contacts to gather targeting requirements for campaigns. Develop and validate audit plans to ensure that targeted populations meet requirements. Recommend process improvements and assist in updating documentation as needed. Identify relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect campaign results. Provide sample sizes per category to validate all components extracted and derived fields created. Prepare campaigns for post- processing by the Analytics and Reporting teams. Develop and maintain campaign run-books and training documentation for business resiliency.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field of study plus 1 year (12 months) of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Business Intelligence Analyst, Software Developer, Software Engineer, SAS Developer, or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Business Intelligence Analyst, Software Developer, Software Engineer, SAS Developer, or related occupation.
  • One (1) year of experience with: Combining data from different tables using SAS Data Step and SQL JOIN operations.
  • One (1) year of experience with: Manipulating data using SAS procedures including Proc Freq, Proc Format, Proc Sort, Proc SQL, Proc Summary, and Data Step programming.
  • One (1) year of experience with: Running and creating code for campaign execution and data analysis using relational databases with millions of records, including Oracle, Teradata, and Snowflake.
  • One (1) year of experience with: Extracting data from databases, flat files, and external APIs using SAS and SQL.
  • One (1) year of experience with: Writing SQL queries to retrieve specific data sets from relational databases.
  • One (1) year of experience with: Integrating data from multiple sources to create comprehensive data sets for analysis.
  • One (1) year of experience with: Auditing campaign results and providing execution insights using Excel formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
  • One (1) year of experience with: Writing technical specification documents.
  • One (1) year of experience with: Writing and executing shell scripts to automate tasks related to campaign execution and data analysis.
  • Any amount of experience with: Accessing Unix systems remotely using PuTTY to execute and monitor scripts related to campaign execution and data understanding.
  • Any amount of experience with: Running and creating scripts, managing file systems, and automating tasks using Unix to support campaign execution and data analysis.
  • Any amount of experience with: Implementing automation to schedule and execute batch jobs using Autosys for campaign execution and data processing.
