About The Position

Broadcom is a world leader in collaborating with customers to design custom ASIC solutions that connect everything. Broadcom is in search of a Reliability Engineer to join the Broadcom Global Operation Quality and Reliability (GO Q&R)Team in Fort Collins, CO. The GO Q&R Team enables Broadcom to bring leading edge Silicon and Packaging solutions to market with proper product qualification planning, execution and reporting. Position Description: Reliability Engineering is a multifaceted discipline. A successful GO Q&R Team member will have knowledge of, or interest in the proper Reliability assessment of advance packages. They will be familiar with Reliability Stress Systems or show an ability to learn these types of systems ( Acoustic Microscopy, Visual Microscope, Akrometrix) . A successful candidate will have experience with some of these skills/tools and an ability to learn others in this hands-on Reliability Engineering position. Exceptional team working skills and communication are essential.

• BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical), Computer Science, Materials Science, or related field and 8+ years of related experience is required

• Automated test equipment (ATE)
• IC application boards
• ATE and DUT Hardware
• Physical Layout Analysis (CAD/GDS)
• Reliability Analysis Techniques (CSAM, OBIRCh, X-ray, SEM)
• Shadow Moire create temperature profile , prepare samples, run profile, understand what represent good vs bad data.
• Program Management +5Yr experience

Responsibilities

• A Reliability Engineer will be responsible for all or part of the planning, execution and completion of Broadcom Product Qualifications.
• A successful Reliability Engineer will be creative, tenacious, flexible, a self-starter with great written and verbal communication skills.
