About The Position

Quality Technician performs quality techniques to track, analyze, and report on material, processes, gages, and products to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards

Requirements

At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)
Quality process experience
Knowledge of mechanical technology and computer software technology
Competency in shop math, blueprint reading, and use of measuring devices, gauges, and programs
Experience with GD&T methods and theory
Grasp of 3D special concepts and reasoning
Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials
Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time
Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing experience
Experience in CMM or High Accuracy Measuring applications and software preferred

Responsibilities

Tests and inspects parts and products at various stages of production process
Compiles and evaluates data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of parts, products, fixtures, and gages
Conducts calibration of instruments
Willingness to assist in other areas as needed
Other duties as assigned
