About The Position

Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process; compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties. At the Greenville, South Carolina plant, we manufacture Industrial speed reducers that are used in bulk material handling. Such as the aggregate and grain industries to load ships and barges, water/wastewater treatment facilities, to move material on conveyors in rock quarries, concrete plants, asphalt plants and mines. Our products are also used on theme park rides, airport baggage conveyors, power plants, warehouse conveying applications like Walmart and Amazon and food and beverage processing. Please note that the starting pay for this position is $27.54

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of machining processes or related QA experience.
• ASQ Inspection certification within 3 years.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degrees in Engineering or related fields are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality support to business/production unit thru verification of machining processes.
• Interpret engineering drawings and schematic diagrams to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Identify and request deviations.
• Execute and create programs CMM Programs.
• Operate Hardness Testers.
• Perform gage set-ups and calibrations.
• Record test data, perform process and/or gage capability studies, and applying statistical quality control procedures as needed.
• Perform internal audits as scheduled.
• Provide off shift support when necessary.
• Maintain inspection documentation per ISO 9001:2008.
• Functional capabilities in the use of ERP system (SAP), M.S. Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
