Be Relentless-Demand more from yourself and the TEAM than you think is imaginable, this will drive change and only then will we achieve our goals. #WelcomeHomeToCreativeFoam Position Objective Assist management team in implementing ISO 9000 and ISO 13485 quality plans and procedures as published in the Plant Quality Procedure manuals. Provide guidance and training to plant manufacturing and support teams on quality policy, procedures and equipment. Assists in developing, maintain and controlling QA procedures, equipment and inspection instructions. Ensures purchased products and/or services meet standards established. Verifies non-conforming products are identified, processed and disposed of according to plant procedures. Performs inspections, test and audits of processes and products. Oversees the collection, organization, analysis, presentation and storage of quality records.

Requirements

  • Successful candidates will have a stable work history, excellent attendance, and reliable transportation. Applicants will be required to undergo an interview, drug testing, and a criminal background check.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, interacting with internal and external multidisciplinary teams.
  • Formal Technical Training in root cause analysis.
  • Blueprint layout and reading.
  • General computer skills; MS Office, internet, email.

Nice To Haves

  • High School education or technical degree.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, or a similar role.
  • Experience with internal audits as well and third-party audits.
  • ISO QMS standards, preferably 13485:2016
  • 21CFR820
  • EU MDR
  • Bi-lingual; English and Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, control and store QA documents, including, but not limited to; Inspection and Quality Plans, procedures, work station instructions and the master list of documents.
  • Collect, organize, present QA reports, track and report trends. Assist management team in the use of company level data to drive improvement.
  • Perform incoming inspection of purchased product. Ensure all required materials have a lot number assigned.
  • Under the guidance of the Quality Manager provide training to manufacturing and office personnel as needed.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for identification and calibrations/verification of software and inspection equipment.
  • Ensure non-conforming products are identified, segregated and when practical, moved to hold area.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining and implementing procedures for corrective action, both internal and external including but not limited to; recording, investigating, eliminating and controls to prevent loss of resources.
  • Ensure approved materials are adequately identified, using appropriated lot numbers.
  • Assist Quality Manager with both internal quality system audits and manufacturing process audits. Assist Bremen Plant management team in the development and verification of corrective actions in response to non-conformances identified.
