Requirements

• Have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related field.
• Experience with inspections of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Understanding schematics, mechanical drawings, and mechanical testing techniques
• Responsible, organized and detail-oriented, self-starter and team player with excellent communications, analytical, organizational and time management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with customers, vendors, engineers,
• Self-motivated and able to work well both independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to work well in a small team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in an AS9100 or Lean Six Sigma environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Interface with manufacturing, design, purchasing and process engineering on quality issues.
• Assist with coordination of Defective Material Reports (DMR) – including containment / disposition actions and root cause / corrective action investigations
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical assembly problems
• Participate in Lean (5S), Six Sigma, and Kaizen Blitz activities.
• Perform First Article Inspection, Inprocess Inspection, Receiving inspection, and Final inspection activities.
• Complete Test Reports per customer requirements.
