About The Position

Located in Red Wing, Minnesota, Elektro Assemblies is a leader in the manufacturing of all wire our customers wire needs; from single wire to complex large harnesses. We help customers in a variety of industries including automotive, healthcare, technology, and food equipment, just to name a few. From the start in 1973, Elektro Assemblies brings your prints to life by offering initial builds and production runs, with supreme quality and delivery. We are here to serve our customers and their needs. There's no wire too small or harness too large, that we can't produce for our customers. Requirements

  • Prior experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail, good record‑keeping, and basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to work closely with production on the shop floor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework a plus.
  • A life learner.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections using gauges, measurement tools, and test equipment.
  • Document inspection results, nonconformances, and rework accurately.
  • Read and interpret prints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Assist with first‑article inspections and sample layouts.
  • Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions under guidance from engineering or quality staff.
  • Help maintain calibration of gauges and test equipment.
