About The Position
A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Quality Technician to perform mechanical inspection of precision-machined components, CMM (Optical and Touch Probe), Interferometry, Laser Micrometer, and other advanced metrology equipment.
Requirements
- Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment.
- University degree, specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Interpreting specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with advanced Metrology is preferred.
- Lean, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause investigation, Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA), knowledge and understanding are preferred.
- ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or FDA Certifications are preferred.
- Experience with any/all of the following is preferred: Programmable optical measurement tools (optical CMM).
- Keyence Image Measurement System.
- Interferometers used for surface finish and form analysis.
- A laser micrometer.
Responsibilities
- Calibrations of metrology equipment.
- CAPA Corrective and Preventive Action support in relation to NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) with thorough documentation.
- Other duties as they are assigned.
