About The Position

All America Threaded Products has an opportunity available for a Quality Technician! The pay range for this position is $20 - $22 /hr and is eligible for our full benefits package, including health, dental, life, and 401k. The Workweek for this Full-Time position is 7:00 AM– 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. This position will work on-site at our facility in Lancaster.   All America Threaded Products is a leading manufacturer of threaded products, we are currently seeking a Quality Technician. This role will report to the Quality Manager and will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, work in process, and finished goods to maintain a high level of quality throughout the manufacturing process. We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. We would prefer direct experience with quality control, but applicants with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Other qualifications include: In June of 2010, Acme formed All America Threaded Products (AATP) by combining the operations of five acquisitions made in the threaded products industry. AATP manufactures and distributes a wide variety of threaded products including threaded rod, studs, anchor bolts, U-bolts and specials. AATP has custom product manufacturing capabilities to meet specific needs for various applications in numerous industries. With a large in-stock inventory of a variety of materials and finishes, AATP has the ability to deliver the necessary threaded products for any application. AATP offers flexible business solutions providing value to our customers. In-house capabilities, such as cutting, finishing, plating, drawing, bending, welding and packaging, have been developed to support our customers’ needs. Services such as custom packaging, flexible stocking options, in-stock inventory and fast and convenient shipping make working with AATP a great experience.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Experience documenting issues, defects, or errors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with warehouse and manufacturing safety standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and interact in a physically demanding position.
  • Willingness to spend most of the day on your feet on the shop floor.
  • Team player, someone who is ready to lend a hand when available.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of external thread dimensions and standards is a plus.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators, gages) is also a plus.
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Perform random sampling, batch sampling, and quality spot-checks.
  • Work with production staff and machine operators to determine root cause, corrective actions, and material disposition.
  • Document and communicate quality issues in a clear and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the appropriate team to reconcile quality issues.
