Requirements

  • 2 years manufacturing experience
  • 1 year SAP experience

Nice To Haves

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Works well with others, especially during high stress situations and at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with CQMS/ISO certification, especially calibration, document control, internal auditing
  • Self-starter, able to work independently
  • Experience with Infinity SPC system
  • Experience using and programming testing equipment; Instron, Alpha, Keyence Image Measurement, Hexagon CMM, 3D scanning, MTS test equipment

Responsibilities

  • Performs periodic documented testing of materials, both manufactured and purchased – including material trials and retesting, to quality specifications
  • Records quality test results, communicates results, issues quality alerts and deviations as needed, in a timely manner
  • Monitor and analyze test data, identify trends in data and communicate to supervisor and manufacturing engineers as needed; Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Performs periodic reviews of testing standard work and recommends any needed changes
  • Perform SAP transactions needed to place material in/out of quality hold and quarantine/label nonconforming material
  • Support Product Teams
  • Maintain Quality and Processes
  • Conduct material testing, including performance testing
  • Communicate test results clearly and concisely in a timely manner
  • Reviews incoming material certificates of analysis (COA’s) on an audit basis for compliance to specifications and records audit results
  • Monitors quality standards of manufactured materials
  • Complete needed equipment calibrations and preventive maintenance; communicate any calibration concerns
  • Program testing equipment for new part additions. This includes the Instron testing equipment as well as Keyence, Hexagon, MTS equipment, Alpha testing equipment as needed
