About The Position

While reporting to the Plant Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality expectations of every customer, both internal and external, are met or exceeded. Our Thermoformed and Flexible Packaging business serves North America, Latin America and Europe with 22 locations. We create and manufacture sustainable packaging solutions. Our customers span the food, retail, and medical sectors. Our packaging meets the needs of a wide range of applications including snacks, condiments, healthcare items, prepared meals, fresh produce, coffee, and pet food. Requirements

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.(Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with the management team and plant associates.
Must to be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed and stand for long periods of time.
Must have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist in analyzing data, customer feedback, in-house rejections, and process capability data
Conduct required off-line testing for products to confirm they meet customer specifications
Ensure customer returns are checked in and feedback is completed on-time
Able to work as a team and across departments throughout the plant
Maintain lab data filing system and physical retention storage
Active involvement in quality activities
Other duties as assigned
