About The Position

The Quality Team Attendant is responsible for completing scheduled, systematic preventative maintenance in guest rooms to uphold the highest standards of functionality, safety, and presentation. This role identifies and addresses issues before they impact the guest experience, ensuring rooms consistently meet Four Seasons expectations for quality and performance.

Requirements

  • At least 6–12 months of building maintenance experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of general building maintenance, learned on the job or through trade school or related certifications.
  • Strong time management skills: ability to multi‑task, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of maintenance systems or HotSOS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with Engineering, Housekeeping, and other departments.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30–50 lbs., and perform frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Perfect Room Program checklists, inspecting and testing all guest‑room components including lighting, HVAC, drains, fixtures, electronics, and safety devices.
  • Identify early signs of wear, malfunction, or safety concerns and perform minor repairs or escalate when appropriate.
  • Conduct preventative repairs on small equipment and components such as breakers, switches, motors, and panels.
  • Assist Housekeeping and Engineering in moving or resetting furniture and fixtures during deep‑clean or maintenance cycles.
  • Support Engineering during emergency conditions such as fire alarms, leaks, or power failures by following established safety procedures.
  • Clean and maintain P‑traps, drains, sink aerators, stoppers, and other plumbing elements.
  • Maintain accurate logs, follow safety standards, and work harmoniously with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Assist with equipment installations, relocations, or renovation‑related work when needed.
  • Support energy conservation initiatives and special projects within the department.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized work environment.
