About The Position

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for producing business intelligence and insights that support quality results in CJ Logistics Distribution Centers. This role ensures adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS), manages control over non-conforming products, and supports product traceability. The Quality Analyst works closely with warehouse teams and customers to identify and resolve quality issues, contributing to compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field is preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of operations or quality-related experience.
  • Experience with WMS, SAP, or other inventory control systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to present findings objectively and interact with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness and ability to operate a forklift as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodology.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain alignment between physical inventory, WMS, and customer systems to ensure product accuracy.
  • Control and disposition non-conforming products, including quality holds and traceability.
  • Conduct quality audits, inspections, and mock track-and-trace events.
  • Investigate quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with corrective/preventive actions.
  • Support regulatory requirements and assist in audit preparation.
  • Produce distribution center quality analyses and scorecard data with actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain analytics to identify process trends, isolate root causes, and predict early indicators of quality problems.
  • Report on metrics, process controls, and effectiveness checks for all inventory and quality components.
  • Provide clear, data-based recommendations to leadership for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service teams to resolve overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
  • Partner with warehouse operations to integrate quality standards into day-to-day activities.
  • Recommend quality-related training needs to operations leadership.
  • Monitor adherence to leading practices and identify opportunities for quality improvement.
  • Support execution of assigned elements of the Quality Management System.
  • Participate in safety committee activities and contribute to overall site safety culture.
  • Provide input into continuous improvement initiatives to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned or required.
