About The Position

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading the plant’s quality team, ensuring adherence to best practices in quality control, and driving rapid, effective resolution of any quality issues that arise in production. This role supports both customer requirements and internal standards, while developing the quality team’s competency, engagement, and accountability

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, databases, quality systems).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach and guide others.
  • Experience with quality hold processes.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Nice To Haves

  • HACCP program experience.
  • Experience with regulatory audits.
  • Experience maintaining and managing calibration schedules.
  • Experience using SPC (Statistical Process Control) data for monitoring processes and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and develop the quality team to effectively identify, contain, and resolve quality issues.
  • Provide clear direction during non‑conformances, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are executed.
  • Conduct training and follow‑up to ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Respond quickly to quality concerns and guide the team through logical, structured problem-solving processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer complaints; develop action plans and drive them through full resolution.
  • Present quality cases, trends, and findings to the leadership team clearly and professionally.
  • Support production teams with quality expertise and real-time decision-making.
  • Maintain weekly communication with customers for follow‑up and proactive quality support.
  • Review and verify quality documentation, forms, and records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform mock recalls in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead monthly microbial testing for IMS‑certified facilities.
  • Lead monthly internal GMP audits and monthly/quarterly stormwater inspections.
  • Support new product qualifications in alignment with corporate qualification policies.
  • Actively participate in and support the plant’s safety program, demonstrating proactive engagement in safety metrics.
  • Work independently while also collaborating cross-functionally as needed.
  • Ask for support when appropriate to ensure accurate decision‑making and risk management.
  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
