Job Summary The Quality Supervisor is responsible for supervising, planning, coordinating, directing, and implementing the quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products that are consistent to KPS Global’s established high standards. Quality supervisor is also responsible for executing and improving key processes to drive improvements in our processes and products by working closely with the different process owners such as: Production, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering to identify and correct the root causes of unacceptable processes and products at a pace consistent with the needs of our customers. The Quality Supervisor also owns the compliance to our processes by establishing audit protocols.

Requirements

Must have the ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written/presentations) at all levels.
Must have excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel and statistical software tools).
Must be able to work equally in an office and factory environment

Responsibilities

Direct resource for data analysis, problem identification, resolution and continuous improvement.
Support root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
Use of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control.
Interact with other departments to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development personnel.
Actively lead and participate in internal quality audits.
Support the manufacturing groups to create, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
Support consistent metrics (process capability, control charts, measurement quality) for monitoring systems effectiveness
Interface with suppliers and customer representatives concerning problems with quality control and assure that effective corrective actions are implemented.
Implementing, and maintaining the factory Quality Management System.
Supervising and directing activities of the factory quality team.
Developing and conducting quality training for manufacturing teams.
Developing and implementing the factory process control plans.
Visits to other manufacturing sites, supplier and customer sites (including occasional travel).
