About The Position
We are looking for a QLC, if you are passionate in providing quality, meaningful activities for the elderly we look forward to meet you! We are looking for a part-time 'Quality of Life Coordinator' (Activity Coordinator) This person must be compassionate, friendly, outgoing, and have passion for seniors. We believe that a great activity program increases the quality of life of the residents we care for each day and are looking for someone who feels the same. Are you self-driven and can you work well in a team setting? You may be the person we are looking for! The Cottages provides care for our senior population to help them live safely and independently in a home-like setting. We only want people who want to love on our seniors. Requirements
- GREAT ATTITUDE , one of compassion and a sincere desire to help others
- Ability to take direction, follow rules exactly, be proactive and thoughtful
- Successful completion of a Criminal History check
- Pass the post-offer drug test
- Be able to lift at least 50lbs
- Be 17 years of age or older

Responsibilities
- Creating a fun environment for our residents
- Plan activities in the home and in the community
- Create monthly activity calendars
- Create personalized and group activities for all residents
- Oversee activity petty cash
- Coordinate external vendors for entertainment
- Help coordinate and plan special events
