About The Position

The Quality MRB Technician is responsible for processing customer returns through the 3M Monroe’s standard process for returned goods and coordinating the “Return to Vendor” process for non-conforming material being returned to suppliers. This role is also responsible for facilitating tasks within the site’s SCARP approval and disposal processes. The individual will interact with several cross functional team members across several departments daily. This individual will play an important role in the dispositioning and processing of non-conforming materials. This position requires product knowledge and extensive system knowledge to be efficient.

Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diploma AND 2 Year of Experience processing customer returns/RMAs OR an associates degree with 1 years of Experience with customer returns/RMAs.
  • Ability to use SAP and Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • All candidates must successfully complete 3M’s Maintenance Battery test.

Nice To Haves

  • Combination of manufacturing/Quality related functional experience for 3 years.
  • Able to collect, compile and Interpret Data for analysis through charts and pivot tables.
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills.
  • Above average computer skills and basic Math skills
  • Experience in using basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers etc.)
  • Must have the ability to read and understand complex assembly and component blueprints.
  • Experience communicating with suppliers, engineers and management about Quality Issues

Responsibilities

  • Interact with internal resources across various functions (Service, Quality, Finance, Customer Service, Production Planning, Shipping, Sourcing etc.) to facilitate the RTV and RMA processes.
  • Evaluate product delivered through customer RGAs by verifying product information and specs against engineering drawings.
  • Work with planning to obtain STOs and perform the necessary transactions in SAP needed to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Communicate and Coordinate opportunities for rework with Quality Engineers and Manufacturing Leads.
  • Utilize the Supplier Quality Management System platform to process Supplier Returns.
  • Act as a liaison between the vendor and other quality team members when handling returns for non-conformances.
  • Assist the Finance department in resolving discrepancies with customer and vendor credits.
  • Leverage numerous reports from SAP and 3M Reporting site to ensure data accuracy for RMA/RGA trackers.
  • Utilize SAP scripting to ensure transaction accuracy, including adjusting serial numbers, processing deliveries, material movements, and scrapping.
  • Maintain ongoing historical data for customer RGAs and vendor RMAs.
  • Facilitate the verification of standard costs in the Scrap Approval Process, along with completing the system transactions and physical disposal of scrapped materials.
  • Must be able to operate under minimum direction while prioritizing and executing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Create and maintain reports/presentations for management review.
  • Complete all training within assigned timelines.
  • Comply with all site EHS, HR and Quality policies.
