About The Position

The Health & Biosciences division focuses on channeling passion for nature and bioscience into sustainable, life-enhancing technologies across healthcare, food, consumer, and industrial markets. This on-site role is based at the Madison, WI, plant, where the Quality Manager will lead quality excellence and drive continuous improvement as part of a collaborative, solution-oriented, and safety-focused manufacturing team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of industrial experience OR high school diploma with 10+ years of manufacturing experience and 3+ years of leadership
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence change
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory compliance
  • Data-driven and action-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform physical requirements safely

Nice To Haves

  • Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, & Medical Device manufacturing experience is strongly preferred, particularly in an ISO9001 food-grade environment
  • Experience in liquid manufacturing or processing environments
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Familiarity with RCFA, PSM, 5S, and Continuous Improvement methods

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the site Quality team, fostering a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Drive compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S), quality, food safety, regulatory, and permit requirements
  • Own and continuously improve the site's Quality and Food Safety Management Systems, including training and internal audits
  • Manage quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure finished products and raw materials meet IFF standards
  • Oversee product release, non-conformance investigations, customer complaints, and corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across all manufactured products
  • Manage site certifications, including ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, Kosher, and Halal, and support external audits
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve quality-related issues
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, service, and cost efficiency
