ATEK Metal Technologies is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and continuously strengthen our quality systems across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and certification requirements while driving a culture of continuous improvement in a metal manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do: As the Quality Manager, you will own and advance ATEK’s quality systems and initiatives, ensuring our products and processes consistently meet or exceed expectations.

  • Establish, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that supports all business processes and customer requirements.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, and support functions.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and serve as the Quality Management Representative, including leading ISO audits and re-certification efforts.
  • Lead and support additional quality certifications aligned with business growth, including Six Sigma and IATF (International Automotive Task Force) certification.
  • Establish quality requirements with customers and suppliers and ensure compliance through audits, corrective actions, and continuous monitoring.
  • Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities to ensure successful new product launches and seamless integration into operations.
  • Provide quality-related technical support to Sales, Operations, and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage the Customer RMA process, reducing returns through internal corrective actions and supplier improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports while fostering accountability and engagement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of post-degree, progressive professional experience in a quality, process engineering, or project engineering role within a metal fabrication manufacturing or foundry environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading ISO 9001 certification or recertification processes.
  • Experience leading or supporting IATF certification or recertification efforts.
  • Hands-on experience with APQP in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
