Quality Manager As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems, sanitation processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality and food safety standards. Establish and report quality metrics. Supervise Quality and Sanitation staff and coordinate Quality and Sanitation Departments with scheduling and staffing. Assist with hiring new Quality employees. Oversee Line Lead, Line Attendant, and Quality audits on quality checks and procedures including weight control, analyze data, and adjust as needed. Facilitate monthly SOP audits, review results and manage completion rate. Train new employees on HACCP, Food Safety Plan, GMP’s, and assist with annual GMP review meeting. Monitor and coordinate the extended run process. Assist Operations in trouble shooting quality issues. Train and familiarize all employees with quality management and standards. Assist Operations with maintaining and issuing Non-Conformances. Oversee Quality Systems to satisfy internal and customer requirements to include process evaluations, sanitation programs, product labeling, product storage, and distribution. Manage quality agendas for the monthly meetings. Create PowerPoints and present as needed. Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to plant personnel by understanding regulatory, customer, and internal quality requirements. Assist in identifying and resolving customer complaints related to quality products. Lead and manage the Pest Control Program. Oversee the calibration program. Be a part of the audit process as needed and a backup including customer, third party, and regulatory audits. Create, review, implement controlled documents – SOP’s, Work Instructions, Forms, Alchemy, and Redzone Production Management. Complete monthly plant audits and Internal BRC Audits. Document non-conformances and follow-up on corrective actions. Engage in a "Food Safety" culture and lead by example. Innovate food safety techniques and processes. Drive and lead the "Right the First Time" process control approach. Assist with Quality and Sanitation KPI's and trending. Monitor, review, and sign off as PCQI on preventative controls. Assist Continuous Improvement groups on projects. Manage internal and external assessment, corrective actions, and sustainability. Provide backup for Quality Supervisors, Quality Lead / Auditors, or Quality Technicians on an as needed basis. Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Manufacturing Operations, Vice President of Food Safety & Quality Systems, or the Director of Quality Systems. Perform customer tests and swabbing as needed. Oversee Sanitation Department.
