We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our site’s Quality function and champion a strong Quality Management System (QMS). This role serves as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters, both internally and externally, ensuring product consistency, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a strong technical background and a passion for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a Quality role.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Quality Lab and all quality operations comply with Safety and 5S standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Engineer and all Quality team members.
  • Oversee performance reviews, corrective actions, and adherence to company policies.
  • Apply process control methodologies (Six Sigma, SPC, DOE) to improve process capability and solve complex problems.
  • Partner with Process Engineering to resolve quality issues, drive preventative actions, and support product optimization and commercialization of new products.
  • Develop and maintain quality systems including performance metrics, failure cost tracking, product capability, and control systems using tools such as statistical analysis, pareto charts, flowcharts, and FMEA.
  • Establish and manage internal process and quality audit programs; develop and monitor corrective action systems.
  • Stay current on industry trends to elevate product quality, consistency, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Define and maintain process specifications, operating conditions, tolerances, and packaging requirements aligned with customer needs.
  • Monitor Quality KPIs and report Quality Management System performance to leadership, including audit results and needed improvements.
  • Serve as an internal expert on FMEA, Change Management, DOE, Six Sigma, and other process‑control methodologies.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams and customers to resolve complaints, support new product development, and drive process improvements.
  • Develop Quality Assurance Plans, auto-control processes, and SPC systems to improve quality performance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce internal, external, and supplier PPM.
  • Support customer requirements related to complaints, feedback, audits, and quality improvement plans.
  • Simplify and standardize tools and processes to enhance Quality team efficiency.
  • Manage and strengthen global risk‑mitigation plans.
  • Ensure QMS compliance with ISO 9001, EDANA, regulatory, customer, and internal standards.
  • Assess and report on vendor quality systems; support supplier quality improvement.
  • Conduct periodic management review meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
