Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? This position will be an Expat role based in Tefen, Israel. Israel Operations is seeking a Sr. Manager Quality Assurance for an onsite expatriate (Expat) assignment in Israel to act as the liaison between PWA and the PW Israel Quality Organizations (BTL and TJL). This role will be the technical Quality focal supporting the Israel team with Quality policies and procedures, continuous improvement activities, aged inventory reduction, and ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to relocate to Israel.
  • Ability to work a Sunday - Thursday work schedule.
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or closely related industrial environment or a master’s degree and 7 or more years experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or closely related industrial environment.
  • Leadership/team management experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, including company and regulatory requirements (AS9100).
  • Proficiency with SAP and enterprise database systems.
  • Experience developing and implementing effective corrective actions.

  • Experience with Pratt & Whitney policies and procedures.
  • Experience with the Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) operating system.
  • Engineering degree.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues to ensure quality standards are integrated into all processes and products
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the quality skills and knowledge of employees across the organization.
  • Ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues through innovative problem-solving and effective action planning
  • Support internal and external audits, address findings, and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identify trends, root causes of defects, areas of improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Utilize local and enterprise database systems to track and report quality metrics.
  • Develop and execute quality assurance strategies to improve product quality, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Support the site Quality Management System (QMS) managers to reinforce a robust audit program and management review practice.
