Requirements

  • Quality related courses or experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Currently Attending a College or University
  • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to spend time on the production floor and may be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • The noise level in the office environment is quiet to moderate.

Responsibilities

  • The Intern will assist in various Quality assignments and projects, including performing audits at both locations in work area to verify that proper work cell organization and documentation (Standardized Work Instructions [SWI], Job Element Sheet [JES], and In-Process Inspection Report [IPR]) is present and current.
  • Performs product, dock, and incoming component receiving inspection audits.
  • Performs training to manufacturing operators utilizing the Training Within Industry (TWI) method for inspection activities required by the JES.
