What it's like to be a Quality Inspector at Quality Inspector As a Full Time, Quality Inspector at PTI Technologies in Oxnard, CA, you will be responsible for conducting routine and moderately complex inspections of both detail and assembled materials. Your expertise will ensure that all products meet stringent blueprint and specification requirements, critical in the aerospace manufacturing sector. By meticulously evaluating components and assemblies, you will uphold our commitment to quality and safety, ensuring that our aerospace projects meet the highest industry standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three to four years of relevant experience in aerospace manufacturing
  • Adept at inspecting and measuring detail parts and assemblies according to blueprint characteristics and purchase order requirements
  • Familiarity with documenting nonconformances and engaging with Material Review Board (MRB) processes
  • AS9102/FAIR experience is mandatory
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers regarding discrepancies, as well as assisting customers during source inspections
  • Proficiency in computer data entry and completing inspection paperwork
  • Performing internal audits and surveillance per PTI procedures
  • Analytical skills, particularly in arithmetic and data interpretation

Nice To Haves

  • SAE AS13001 DPRV/DSQR certification
  • DMIR or ODAR Certificate
