Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in a Quality position in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of basic inspection gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Understanding of drawings, blueprints, and basic GD&T.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow customer specifications, internal procedures, and work instructions
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient Computer Skills
- Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP Systems; Epicor Vista preferred.
- A working understanding of Quality requirements, customer flow-downs, AS9100/ISO approvals.
- Ability to communicate, ask clarifying questions and understand the workflow to properly troubleshoot issues.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred understanding of AS9100, ISO, and Nadcap requirements but not required
- Able to perform visual weld inspection preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely inspection of parts using a variety of precision measuring tools (Romer Arm, CMM, Planar, hand tools, etc.)
- Understanding and using manufacturing ERP systems.
- Following instructions, procedures, specifications, and requirements for all jobs.
- Able to complete documentation properly and accurately according to HAW Quality standards.
- Interpreting customer drawings and performing inspection for conformance
- Critical thinking to uphold quality requirements in a fast pace, dynamic environment.
- Preferred understanding of AS9100, ISO, and Nadcap requirements but not required
- Able to perform visual weld inspection preferred but not required
- Ability to perform part marking, pressure testing, and daily calibration activities
- General shop housekeeping and following safety policies and guidelines.
