About The Position

Ascentec is hiring! Do you have strong attention to detail skills? We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team! This critical position within the company presents a great opportunity for someone to provide final assurance to all our valued customers that their products are being provided with the highest level of quality possible. Please note that preference will be given to candidates that have experience working in a manufacturing setting, but this is not required. There are two shifts available: Day Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Swing Shift: Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. This position is on-site (not remote/not hybrid) and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Ability to read, understand, and interpret internal and customer provided mechanical prints including GD&T
Basic experience with a wide variety of metrology equipment including Optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.
Visual Product Inspections – Surface Cosmetics of Plated/Painted and bare material parts
Generate Clear and concise Non-conformance Reports
Ability to work overtime

Applicant must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.
