The Quality Improvement Specialist II provides support services to PACE centers and staff in areas such as root cause analysis and process improvement techniques. This role involves collaborating with corporate operations staff to define and enhance existing processes, aiming to improve PACE site efficiencies and patient outcomes. The specialist is responsible for the administrative and quality management, including planning, development, implementation, and evaluation/assessment of clinical care services/programs. Key tasks include reviewing and analyzing medical records data related to quality care issues and coordinating with PACE sites to sustain improvements in quality measures and service outcomes. These efforts must meet the regulatory demands set by the California Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS), Centers for Medicaid Services (CMS), and other programs. The position also involves coordinating with internal and external customers to meet deliverables throughout the year.
