Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of experience working as a quality professional.
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of basic statistical techniques (e.g., process capability, SPC, hypothesis testing, etc.)
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Access, and other analytics tools.
  • Self-driven, adaptable and resourceful; able to work under limited supervision.
  • This role may require 15% of travel, domestically. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a clean room environment is ideal
  • Certified Quality Engineer through ASQ (CQE, CRE, etc.) is ideal

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Quality Technicians and/or Quality Inspectors within their Business Unit providing day-to-day work instructions for these team members
  • Develop and coaches Quality Technicians and/or Quality Inspectors
  • Diagnose quality issues and work cross-functionally to resolve them
  • Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate and execute audits of suppliers
  • Provide input data for Supplier Scorecards
  • Initiate and monitor supplier deviations and corrective actions
  • Manage non-conformance process for components
  • Evaluate trends in non-conformances and take action to resolve recurring issues
  • Assists in developing and implementing quality engineering procedures.
  • Operates within CPC Quality System.
  • Keeps current in the field with internal and external education and training.
  • Adheres and is knowledgeable to all safety regulations.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
