About The Position

Simmonds Precision is seeking a motivated Quality Engineering Intern to join our
Quality team for the summer of 2026. This internship provides hands-on
experience supporting quality assurance processes within an aerospace
manufacturing environment. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers
to help ensure products meet stringent aerospace quality standards, regulatory
requirements, and customer specifications.

This role offers exposure to aerospace quality systems, root cause analysis,
continuous improvement initiatives, and manufacturing quality processes.
Work will be performed under the guidance of Quality Engineering team members
who will assist in defining tasks and provide mentorship through assigned
activities.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and the student must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable field of study.
• US. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Previous hands-on experience through internships, academic projects, or laboratory work in a technical field of study is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including ability to produce technical documentation, and the desire to learn new technologies and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
