Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biological Sciences, Physical sciences required
  • 3-5 years of experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of ISO, ICH, GMP standards
  • Strong IT, project management, root cause analysis, and statistical skills
  • Understand Six Sigma fundamentals and process capability metrics
  • MUST BE: Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Fluent in English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Fast Manufacturing Consumer Goods preferred
  • Project Management skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical quality support to improve material, product, and process performance.
  • Address quality issues with timely risk assessments and action plans.
  • Define, maintain, and train on QMS procedures to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance product quality and productivity using Lean, TPM, and Total Quality concepts.
  • Serve as the site’s Consumer Complaint Management SME, owning complaint procedures, representing the site during audits/inspections, and ensuring full inspection readiness.
  • Monitor daily complaint dashboards, manage intake and triage, coordinate investigations with SSM, call centers, Customer Care, Engineering, and Manufacturing, and ensure all R3 records are accurate, complete, and compliant with timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with the Process & Product Performance Monitoring (PPPM) procedure, including daily process performance checks and scheduling required product testing for each production batch.
  • Analyze product and process results, identify trends, recommend improvement actions, and provide monthly PDCA KPIs, including CpK metrics.
  • Lead investigations for CpK values that do not meet site targets and define appropriate react actions for PDCA.
  • Maintain a strong floor presence to understand processes, validate assumptions, and build credibility with Operations.
  • Lead key continuous improvement initiatives within OPEN+, including managing Q‑BOS routines, defining improvement projects, and applying structured problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Identify, prioritize, and drive quality improvement opportunities across Manufacturing and Quality, ensuring sustainability through standardization and performance tracking.
  • Manage end‑to-end NC/CAPA activities, including root cause analysis, action plan development, implementation tracking, effectiveness checks, and timely closure of records.
  • Support IQOS 4 deployment by monitoring early quality performance, verifying readiness of processes and controls, and collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, and global teams to ensure a successful launch and sustained product quality.
  • Promote and apply PMI standards for sustainability, health, safety, and environment.
