Requirements

All candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quality Engineering
Proficiency with MS Excel (advanced level), Outlook, and Word for data analysis and reporting
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and quality specifications
Knowledge of measurement techniques, inspection procedures, and quality control testing methodologies
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
Solid understanding of quality management systems (QMS), particularly AS9001
Familiarity with quality methodologies including 8D problem-solving, PPAP, and root cause analysis
Excellent analytical and statistical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to organize complex information and manage multiple priorities efficiently
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences
Communicative proficiency in English
Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams in a supportive and inclusive environment

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems at a user level (preferred)
Internal auditor or quality auditor certification (preferred)
Valid driver's license (preferred for potential facility visits or supplier audits)

Responsibilities

Monitor supplier quality of incoming materials and analyze customer feedback to resolve quality issues.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation to support consistent product excellence
Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement using statistical analysis and SPC methodologies
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve customer quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Prepare detailed quality reports, statistical analyses, and performance dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Support the continuous improvement process by leading or participating in quality initiatives and process optimization projects
Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with AS9100 and other relevant quality management system requirements
Participate in new product development and process validation activities, including PPAP documentation and approval workflows
Maintain organized quality records and documentation systems to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance
Mentor and support team members on quality best practices and foster a culture of quality awareness across the organization
