Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing (Lean experience = big bonus points)
  • Familiarity with automated control systems and strong capability in implementing poka‑yoke solutions
  • Experience using structured problem‑solving methodologies such as 5 Why, Six Sigma, Fishbone, PDCA, or 8D
  • Sharp attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • A solid understanding of core quality tools including FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and APQP
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements (Internal Auditor certification is a plus)
  • A collaborative, team‑oriented style and a track record of supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support quality initiatives that keep our customers thrilled and our products performing at their best.
  • Ensure everything from products to processes to documentation meets internal requirements, ISO standards, and industry regulations.
  • Drive root‑cause analysis and guide cross‑functional teams through CAPA efforts using tools like 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D.
  • Analyze quality trends, identify risks, and recommend improvements that boost reliability, stability, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain inspection methods, control plans, test plans, and quality criteria to keep product performance consistent and predictable.
  • Own APQP deliverables like PFMEA, PPAP, control plans, and capability studies, and keep programs on schedule like a pro.
  • Review drawings and partner with Engineering and Supply Chain to verify components meet fit, form, and function expectations.
  • Lead PFMEA sessions that uncover and reduce process risk, then verify that actions really work.
  • Train, coach, and support teams in quality standards, lean tools, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate across production, engineering, and operations to level‑up safety, efficiency, throughput, and overall product quality.
  • Serve as a champion of quality culture, promoting accountability, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
