This Quality Engineer III role is responsible for product/process quality across the entire Supply Chain, from supplier to customer, for several Product Lines. The position involves driving effective root cause analysis to eliminate non-conformances, improving supplier quality through collaboration with procurement, engineering, and suppliers, and supporting manufacturing assembly and test cells to maximize product quality and reliability. The Quality Engineer III will also champion the reduction of customer complaints, DPPM, and warranty costs by engaging engineering, operations, purchasing, and customer service. Key duties include developing and verifying compliance with the ASME & PED Quality Control Program, driving continuous improvement for the Quality System, benchmarking business processes, supporting the ISO Quality System for customer and regulatory compliance, monitoring and coordinating corrective actions for supplier complaints, and participating in New Product Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Previous manufacturing experience (quality) required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of various quality system methodologies; Lean, 5 Why's, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFEMA, PPAP, APQP, etc. is a must

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for product/process quality for the entire Supply Chain, from supplier to customer, of several Product Lines
  • Drive effective root cause analysis to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances for all elements
  • Improve supplier quality by working with procurement, engineering and suppliers
  • Support the manufacturing assembly and test cells to maximize product quality and reliability
  • Champion the reduction of customer complaints; reduce customer DPPM and warranty costs, through engagement of engineering, operations, purchasing and customer service
  • Develop and verify compliance of the ASME & PED Quality Control Program
  • Drive continuous improvement for all elements of the Quality System
  • Benchmark business processes against best-in-class and drive implementation of best practices throughout the organization
  • Support our ISO Quality System to make sure all deliverables are met for customer and regulatory body compliance
  • Monitor and coordinate corrective actions for supplier complaints
  • Participate in New Product Development
