Here, you will make an impact by: Examines documents such as drawings, change orders, purchase orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents Manages the document control system Prepares reports and memorandums Preparation of Certificate of Conformance and Certificate of Analysis Manages the compilation of data packages Tracking of production components and status of Work in Progress

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Two (2) years of document management experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in one or more of the following: defense / aerospace industry
  • Aerospace Standards (AS9100)
  • International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
  • Experience in report writing
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access Database, Outlook
  • Prior experience working and building relationships with internal/external customers
  • Effective verbal and written communications with all levels of personnel

Responsibilities

  • Examines documents such as drawings, change orders, purchase orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data

  • Manages the document control system
  • Prepares reports and memorandums
