Role Summary: The Quality Director will lead Gotion’s quality strategy across manufacturing, warehouse operations, and supplier management. This role is critical for ensuring product excellence, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency during a significant production ramp-up phase. The position requires a hands-on leader who can drive quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing quality management.
  • Proven track record in production ramp-up and quality systems development.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ CQE).
  • Experience in EV battery or automotive manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with supplier quality management and global supply chains.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality tools, processes, and systems for manufacturing and warehouse operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all quality functions to optimize resources.
  • Customer Quality: Manage customer-facing quality programs and aftermarket service to ensure exceptional service and timely issue resolution.
  • Product Quality: Oversee product quality for current and future production lines; support ramp-up from 2 of 5 lines to full capacity within planned timelines.
  • Supplier Quality: Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards; collaborate with procurement and production teams to maintain consistency.
  • Partner closely with manufacturing teams to uphold high standards during production scale-up.
  • Deploy quality inspectors based on production line requirements.
  • Monitor and improve team processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
