About The Position

The Quality Coordinator (QC) is the guardian of excellence in the business unit’s supply chain. The QC will ensure that every component and material from external partners meets the business unit’s rigorous quality standards, regulatory requirements, and production timelines. Working cross-functionally with procurement, quality and production teams, the QC will drive continuous improvement initiatives, resolve Customer-related issues, and elevate overall product reliability. The QC will support Boeing dispute integrity, cross training, RCCA management, regulatory compliance, and adherence to OEM and industry standards. The Quality Coordinator ensures that dispute processes, components, and finished products meet AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements. customer-required material compliance reporting submissions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Quality) or related field
  • 3+ years of quality, manufacturing quality, or process engineering experience
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or relevant quality standards
  • Proficiency in quality tools: FMEA, SPC, 8D, Fishbone diagrams, and statistical analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with hands-on experience leading CAPA initiatives
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing tasks
  • Ability to travel up to 30% for customer visits, audits, and cross-site collaboration
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to metals and machinery

Nice To Haves

  • Certified AS9100 or ISO 9001 Auditor
  • Familiarity with ASTM quality standards for Steel, Aluminum, Copper, and Brass
  • Familiarity with material compliance regulations
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP and Quality Management Systems
  • Proven track record of reducing supplier defects and driving cost-saving programs

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and qualify RMAS Disputes by reviewing capabilities, processes, and quality systems
  • Conduct on-site audits to verify compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Develop, implement and maintain quality plans, control plans, and
  • Investigate internal issues, customer complaints (Disputes), and nonconforming products.
  • Apply industry-recognized RCCA methodologies including 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, DMAIC.
  • Coordinate, track, and drive corrective actions to effectively closure.
  • Prepare and maintain metrics and documentation supporting customer RCCA expectations.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for supplier nonconformances
  • Facilitate regular business reviews with customers to drive waste reduction and process standardization
  • Support cross-functional projects (cost reduction, design for manufacturability, sustainability initiatives).
