About The Position

The Quality Control Specialist is a critical member of the Quality team. The QC Specialist is responsible for inspecting products for non-conformances and working with various teams to implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior quality control experience
• Clear understanding of operational process and procedure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Must possess critical thinking skills
• An unwavering ability to remain unbiased and focused on the quality control of the product.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections per the Quality Control Inspection Procedure for packaging and shipping.
• Perform all necessary follow-up relative to completed NCRs, including, but not limited to, the coordination of team meetings, scheduling training/re-training, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Review and log incoming customer NCR’s, facilitate and drive investigation with the operations department; submit the first draft of a response.
• Work with site leadership to schedule NCR-related standdowns and document employee participation in each standdown.
• Complete and document routine V&V of NCRs.
• Complete photo verification at a pre-determined, site specific, or percentage-based rate.
