The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring parts received externally and produced internally are of excellent quality, meeting all form, fit, and function specifications.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of DataFlo system (or equivalent system), processes and procedures.
• Must be able to utilize and comprehend Quality Verification Resources to include but not limited to check gauges, calipers, micrometers, scaled ruler, and the use of different hand tools.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints, part datasheets, and fixtures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Ability to effectively follow instructions; work independently with minimum supervision.
• Must know basic math such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Must demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated good housekeeping practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Possess a positive attitude.
• Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, and excellent communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a QC inspector/technician.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate parts, rejects parts as necessary, and initiating appropriate corrective action.
• Review and interpret relative documentation to include but not limited to, part drawings, part lists, part datasheets, part samples and fixtures, Bill of Materials, Bill of Operations, and Kanban Structures.
• Maintain quality standards documentation, databases, and records relative to respective assigned area(s).
• Document defects with conciseness, accuracy, and details to ensure defects are not reproduced.
• Other duties as assigned.
