Requirements
- Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
- Hardworking.
- Physical ability to perform medium work, exerting up to 50lbs of force occasionally and/or in excess of 20lbs force frequently.
- Comfortable working in extreme heat and cold.
- Must be self-directed and able to satisfactorily complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the best quality is presented in customer units, i.e., paint and customer specifications.
- Read data plates to verify that all information is correct.
- Inspect units to ensure that every unit meets each customer’s specifications.
- Ensure that all attachments, arresters, labels, guards, etc. are attached to the correct units.
- Maintain a log of details for specifications by customers prior to units being loaded for shipment
- Scan unit bar codes using assigned computer or tablet to ensure the data plates match information for each unit.
- Responsible for all shop equipment and tools in his/her workstation. Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
- Maintain communication with paint department to help ensure the best quality of customer units.
